Think of Silo as a storehouse of ideas and tools for your business or organization. We are an experienced design and strategy collective based in Great Barrington, MA. We are passionate in our pursuit to transform brands and businesses through carefully crafted design and meticulous marketing management.

We create fresh, contemporary brand identities, offering solutions and digital experiences that employ a clean, simple and reductive style of design. We are visual minimalists, eliminating clutter and seeking out balanced, thoughtful design solutions.

BETH CARLSON is an entrepreneur, business owner, and freelance organizer living in the Berkshires since the Mid 1980’s.  She is one of 4 producers of the Oldtone Roots Music Festival, with several administrative roles on that project. She serves on the board of two historic restoration projects and was vital in the campaign to save a third building. She is a visual artist, with a keen sense of aesthetics and appreciation for powerful and subtle visuals.

An instinctive organizer, connector, and promoter, her endless energy and understanding of social media systems, and empathic and empowering nature make her the person you want on your team.

KIP BEACCO is a graphic designer, musician, business owner, and consummate purveyor of the visual arts. He is a founding member, producer and art director of the Oldtone Roots Music Festival. With over 25 years of graphic design experience including co-founding Housatonic Creative, he is forever searching for the perfect balance of typography and graphics while using as little as possible to achieve that goal.

Working by day as a graphic designer, and by night as guitar slinger for The Lucky 5 Jazz Band, Beacco, a Stockbridge native, lives with his wife, two children and rescue dog O'Malley in Great Barrington.
